One word best describes Kobe Bryant the Basketball Player. Clutch. And this season 2009-2010 when people were questioning his play through health and age, Kobe had perhaps the most “clutch” season of his entire career. A total of 6 Game Winning shots in one season. The Lakers were down by 2 98-96 to the Memphis Grizzlies in Memphis tonight with about 5 or so seconds to go when Kobe Bryant did it again. More late game heroics from one of the greatest clutch players the game has ever seen. Here’s the video highlight from the game. What’s remarkable also were the two big shots he hit right before this to keep the game close, leading to his final three to win the game. The guys is just incredible!

This is Kobe Bryant’s 5th Game Winning Shot this season and we still have a couple months worth of games to go in the regular season. Can’t wait to see the game winning shots he hits in the playoffs!

Yes you are seeing this correctly. You are not dreaming. Kobe Bryant has beat the buzzer for the 3rd time this month with a game winning 3-point shot to beat the Sacramento Kings 109-108. It’s being called the Miracle on New Years Day by the Lakers Nation. A miracle indeed considering the horrible play of the Lakers bench and the overall lack of support Kobe is currently getting from his supporting cast. But never mind that. Let’s just enjoy the Kobe show as he continues to prove why he is one of the greatest basketball players of all-time. Here’s the buzzer beater:

Of the three game winning shots Kobe has had this past month, where does this one rank for you? To me it’s #2 behind the game winning three against the Miami Heat on December 4th.

This time the victims were the Milwaukee Bucks. They out played the Lakers for 4 ½ Quarters of play (overtime) and the Lakers were still able to steal the game at the end thanks to the heroics of one Kobe Bryant. Most of you I’m sure have seen the highlights. But it’s such an important event that I’m writing a post about it anyways. Here’s the highlight from last nights Laker win over the Bucks and Kobe’s dramatic game winning jump-shot:

I decided to post the game as called by the Laker broadcasters rather than the Bucks broadcasters because of the unprofessional-ism the Bucks broadcasters displayed during the last 2 minutes of the ballgame. What other word can be used to describe Kobe Bryant’s ability in clutch situations other than AMAZING! He’s truly one of the most clutch performers the game has ever seen. Anyone who says they woud rather have someone else with the ball and the game on the line is biased and flat out lying to themselves! The Black Mamba Strikes Again!
